PROGRAMS & SERVICES  

SpareCare® Aftermarket Products 
SpareCare® replacement parts are available for all Aqua-Aerobic products and systems. Orders come directly from our factory in Rockford, Illinois so there is no hassle finding parts elsewhere. Stocked parts are shipped within 24 hours and ordering is easy with direct billing and credit card payment options.

Diffuser Sleeve Replacements:
Aqua replacement diffusers and diffuser sleeves for tube and disc configurations. The sleeves are manufactured of highest quality EPDM rubber and easily installed by plant personnel. Diffuser sleeve replacement is recommended every five years to ensure efficiency. Replacement actually reduces blower power usage for additional cost savings.

Cloth Media and Assembly Replacements for Filters:
Essential parts for the AquaDisk®, Aqua MiniDisk®, and AquaDiamond® cloth media filters include cloth media, support frames, backwash assembly, drive assembly, and center tube assemblies. Cloth media can be easily stored at your facility and assemblies are simple to install. We also recommend a replacement PLC kit which contains an input and output card, program module and spare battery.

AquaABF® Filter Efficiency Program:
One of Aqua’s service technicians will visit your plant and perform a complete physical inspection of the traveling bridge filter system. You’ll receive a report that includes ratings on the underdrain, media and porous plates, bridge mechanisms, drive shaft and bearings, backwash shoe and wear strips and drive motor and gear box. You’ll also receive a custom recommendation and estimate to restore the filter system to peak performance standards, including a price list for the genuine Aqua-Aerobic parts. Typical spare parts include: sprockets, chain, bearings, shafts, drive motors, gearbox, rail clamp, level probe, limit switch and starter/timer.

Critical Components for AquaSBR® and AquaExcel® Systems:
After years of continuous operation, critical components for your AquaSBR® or AquaExcel® system may need to be replaced or upgraded. These components include your PLC controls and decanter. For the PLC, we recommend having spare Input and Output Cards in stock. For the decanter we recommend ordering a spare actuator, capacitor, and limit switch. Stocking spare parts for these critical components will prevent unexpected downtime and 24-hour tedious manual operation of your Aqua system.

Good as New™ Refurbished Equipment 

Aqua will recondition the diffusion head or motor base of your Aqua-Jet® aerator or AquaDDM® mixer and rebuild the power section (motor, shaft and prop) to “good as new” condition with a new Endura® Series high-efficiency motor. This means a cost savings of 25—35% when compared to a new purchase. You also get a new precision propeller, shaft parts, and we perform a vibration balance check to ensure “Good as New” quality. You get to keep your old motor, propeller, and other parts as spares! We even pay for shipment of the diffusion head or motor base from your site to ours!

You may want to consider another low cost alternative to new and that is refurbished equipment, which can cost up to 25% less. Our refurbished equipment is inspected and reworked to strict standards, and includes a one-year mechanical warranty. Refurbished components for decanters, AquaABF® filters, AquaCAM-D® systems, and spray coolers are also available. Call for a list of equipment currently available through our Good as New program.

High Efficiency Motors 

Let Aqua replace your old Aqua-Jet® aerator or AquaDDM® mixer motor with a high efficiency or premium efficiency motor to save on energy costs. The initial price adder on these motors is offset by the energy savings and is recovered in a short period of time. These motors are part of our limited maintenance Endura® series, and offer a a 3-year mechanical warranty.

Controls Upgrade 

Aqua offers upgrade options for PLC controls and software for your AquaSBR® or AquaExcel® system. Reasons to consider a control upgrade include:

  • Existing control hardware is obsolete or approaching end-of-life and could contribute to unplanned downtime.
  • Program enhancements are limited due to existing hardware platforms.
  • Process control/monitoring window of current operator interface can not be expanded.

Benefits of a new PLC/operator interface upgrade:

  • Allen-Bradley system hardware and software support is readily available (by Aqua and locally).
  • Faster communication between PLC and operator interface.
  • PLC is SCADA-ready for future networking to a remote monitoring system.
  • Opportunity to add customized program features (D.O. control, T.S.S. monitoring, etc.).
  • Minimal down-time through use of pre-terminated input/output cards, shipped pre-labeled with wiring information.
  • LCD touch screen is operator-friendly.

Plant Wellness Evaluations 

To prevent downtime and keep your plant operating at maximum efficiency, Aqua offers Plant Wellness Evaluations. These are performed on a annual basis. An Aqua Service Technician will visit your plant and perform a detailed mechanical and process inspection. You will then receive a comprehensive report and custom recommendation to bring your Aqua system back to peak operating efficiency. This recommendation includes changes to operation practices, parts inventory list and providing a suggested maintenance schedule.

Aqua Financing Solutions® 

Aqua-Aerobic Systems has partnered with Government Capital Corporation to provide tax-exempt financing for municipalities. Municipalities can fund 100% of all wastewater treatment plant equipment, equipment engineering, and equipment installation purchases as personal property.

Preventative Maintenance 

Aqua wants to keep your equipment operating efficiently so we offer Preventative Maintenance. We recommend maintenance regimens for various components including: mixers, aerators, blowers, pumps, decanter, diffusers, instrumentation, and electric valves and actuators, which are included in your Operation and Maintenance Manual. You can request that an Aqua Service Technician visit your plant and perform an inspection to prevent unexpected downtime.

Rental and Lease Options 

Aqua-Aerobic offers rental and lease programs for customers that may not have a long-term need for equipment, or where capital budget is limited. Rental and leased equipment is available as new or reconditioned units. Aqua-Aerobic units come with a full warranty.

Rental
Equipment that is provided on a rental basis can be short-term or available for purchase. Rental equipment is a solution during plant upgrades when equipment is needed temporarily, during emergencies when equipment is needed to meet the plant's needs, or when existing equipment is being repaired. Aqua-Aerobic's process engineers can size or confirm sizing of equipment to ensure correct application of equipment. Rental units include: Aqua-Jet® aerators, AquaDDM® mixers and AquaDisk® filters.

Lease
Aqua-Aerobic can provide extended lease agreements for any Aqua equipment for those industrial or municipal plants that may be capital limited or where leasing provides financial benefits. Terms of leased equipment can be tailored to meet the customer's needs.

Operator Training Seminars 

To provide extended knowledge on activated sludge systems, sequencing batch reactors, and cloth media filtration systems, Aqua offers a one-day technical seminar. The seminar typically covers applications, mechanical operation, process optimization, preventative maintenance and common trouble- shooting issues. When possible, we include live demonstrations in the agenda to give you a hands-on experience. The seminars are informal and questions are encouraged. This training seminar is not only valuable to operators but to a wide range of wastewater treatment industry professionals including: Consulting Engineers, Environmental Managers, Industrial Process Engineers, Superintendents and Operators. Process Start-up Assistance 

Following mechanical start-up and a sufficient amount of time for flow experience, Aqua will send a Service Technician to your plant to evaluate the process flow. The Technician will discuss the system’s performance with your operators and any issues they have encountered. The Technician will also perform various tests to verify that the system is operating efficiently. If it is not, they will make adjustments to the controls to bring the system back to its design parameters.
